Bengazi The Splinter in Obama's Eye

Here is a question for you? Where do you want to start the story about Libya? Libya had just become Quaddifi free. And the American Ambassador was in effect feeling like a freedom fighter. The issues of his security had been brought up as a concern to him. Was he and the State Department feeling the PR of being approachable was more important than his security? Or how about we start with the fear of causing panic in the US that 911 attacks were going to happen again? Would having identified the attack as a terrorist attack on 911 been the equivalent of yelling "Fire" in a crowded theatre? I am not sure the witch hunt has anything but political value. We saw a regime change from us "leading from behind". In comparison to Iraq and Afghanistan we have to be grateful. To find a fault with the administration's handling of libya in total, feels like the republicans have a lumber in their own eye.

Why I can't vote for Romney and shouldn't for Obama

Dear Mitt, I recognized that you had to make members of your party happy, but I have to tell you that when you spoke at the Conservatives convention and called all democrats "traitors". You lost my interest. And when you ran away from your own Healthcare plan, you lost my needs. And when you said that government never created a job, you lost your history. And when you lost the history of the fact that the eliminating regulation caused this miss, you lost the chance for me to ever vote for you. Dear Barack, The idea of change was suppose to bring theory to practice. So when you brought in all the theorists and could not execute, you should have learned. And when you pointed out that banks were to big to fail and still did not bring back Glass Steagal, you should have been ashamed. And when you added to the lawyers in town and did not take advantage of industry expertise you should have known. And when you switched from people to drones, your criteria for selection should have been defined. So in the end when I vote for you. I should have known better.

Mighty White of You

If you have a neighborhood watch program and you are in a culturally diverse neighborhood, I would strongly recommend you actually run a neighborhood social.

When neighbors can't recognize you because they don't socialized with you and call the cops on you. Clearly this is not a neighborhood watch.

President Obama, reacted appropriately calling out the problem. As the late Richard Prior used to say, "In America you expect Justice, and that's what you see, "Just Us".

NBC had this show where they hired three white guys to vandalize a car and see how long it took for people to call the cops. The cops were never called. Meanwhile the cops were called about two black kids sleeping in their car at the other end of their same row.

I would say this was a remote experience, except it happened at the Ridgewood Duck Pond near my house. So we have met the enemy and they is us as Pogo would say.

While it's good to see America can overcome its prejudices when we are confronted by eloquent black men and actually vote for them, it maybe if he does not speak and we see him at distance we still look at him as an intruder.

We Shall Overcome may need a new verse
We won't call the cops
When a black man stops
Just to say hello to me
Deep in my heart,
I do believe,
I can be free someday.

So expand your heart, talk to your neighbors, regardless of color and if you have a problem with them think before you call someone else to handle your concern.

And Ransom Captive Israel

"Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel and ransom captive Israel"

I have been watching the spin doctors for Palestinians and I want to say I am grateful that these people are developing a better voice in US politics.

However, the dream that democracy was not going to have consequences is truly problematic. Hamas was elected in the Gaza and its policies are being carried out, so retaliation is the result.

So much money went into the PLO Palestine should have been sovereign by now. The fact that it is not is a shame. But sovereignty does not happen by wasting efforts on destruction.

I pray for peace, but I don't blame Israel for its retaliation.

Ten False Rumors to make McCain win

1) Obama has a white mistress
2) that participated in a threesome with bill ayers
3) Shes actually a transexual
4) who is a muslim
5) terrorist
6) and lived in welfare housing
7) until she got an unsecured loan from FANNY & FREDDIE
8) that had an abortion
9) and a love child
10) that was registered to vote by ACORN

as said none of these are true.

But the economy may be so bad that even these could not help McCain.

The Role of the Jester

Aristotle said that comedy is the groutesque brought to the absurd. But in the age of kings the role of a jester is to tell the truth in a way that allowed the king not to feel his authority was questioned.

In the new age of Kings the problem is they can't find their sense of humor.
